The Optical Box E Phono takes many needs into account and offers a digital-optical signal output plus a standard analogue output that will work simultaneously.
A front-sided input selector allows you to select desired inputs: Phono or Line. Signal from selected input is present on analogue output. This function allows to connect AD Box S2 Phono permanently in an HiFi system, use it as standard phono preamplifier and in case of need you can convert your records to digital data, stored in your computer.
The Phono Box DS3 B comes in a steel and aluminum chassis providing very high rigidity and splendid isolation from interference.

Phono Box S was one of Pro-Ject’s favorite products, it offered unrivalled sonics and versatility at a very affordable price. When they started creating Phono Box S2, its successor, it had to have exactly that but improve on sound even further.
We are offering a fully discrete, OpAmp less design, which enabled us to realize an incredibly harmonious sound.
In addition to settings for MM (Moving Magnet) cartridges, the Phono Box S3 B allows you to upgrade to True Balanced operation with a MC (moving coil) cartridge on most Pro-Ject turntables.
