The OBERON 5 is the ultimate performer. A compact and elegant floor-standing speaker, housing 2 x 5¼” wood fiber SMC based woofers and the series’ wide bandwidth 29 mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter. This slim floor-stander will surprise with its ability to deliver a deep firm bass. Together with the clear and well defined mid-range and the airy high frequencies, this speaker is at home with any music or movie sound track.
With the launch of the DALI OBERON loudspeaker series, Dali has picked the best elements from our current speakers and brought them together in a series that delivers on audio quality, looks and versatility.
We have made it easy to integrate the OBERON 5 into any room, as both the driver materials and geometry applied have been selected to achieve a wide dispersion pattern in the listening area. The same principles have been applied in the design of the crossover.
As result, you will experience a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significant off-axis angle. This is important as you are rarely seated directly in front of your loudspeakers when listening to music. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion, as these will always be stronger in an on-axis response. This is also the reason why all DALI speakers are not designed to be toed-in.

Nice speakers for the size and price point. Surprisingly enough bass response to avoid a sub.

I love these so far and my wife has commented how nice they look which can be a big factor in upgrading speakers. The frequency response is flat with a small dip at 1500hz. The top end could be better losing steam around 10k. I definitely recommend pairing with a good center speaker for your home theatre. Overall superb at this price.

Did A LOT (like at least 40 hours) of research before deciding on these and they do not disappoint. Paired with a Denon x3700h, the sound is clear and I am hearing things I could never pick up with my previous speakers. I was impressed/surprised by how small they are, but love the sound and that they aren’t super intrusive. Highly recommend and audiolab service was great.

let me start by saying i am in no way a techie audiophile -> i know very little about what the specifications mean that comes included with new gear-> i know how to hook up some speaker wires

Break out the superlatives. These sounded amazing from the first note to pour out. Deep bass, perfect treble, tons of punch, crisp and bright. Plus, they are gorgeous. I am running them through a Cambridge AXR100 and it’s as pristine of a sound as you could want. Plus, they look absolutely stunning. Perfect size for my space. Highly recommend.

I had read many reviews on many different speakers and the Dali Oberon 5’s really stood out from the crowd. My wife is probably one of the most difficult to get approval from when it comes to my audio equipment, but when these arrived at my door from the FedEx delivery driver I knew that she would like these! In fact, I’m surprised that she didn’t say that they are too small! lol As for the sound quality and sonic size, holy smokes! I was not expecting them to be this good! Also, I must thank the people at Audiolab who had put up with me changing my mind on colors and speakers multiple times. They could not have been nicer to me. Big thanks!
