The SCL-2 is a custom in-wall loudspeaker designed primarily for use as an LCR or surround in larger systems. It features JBL’s patented D2415K dual 1.5-inch compression driver mated to a large format High-Definition Imaging (HDI) horn. Triple 8-inch Advanced Aluminum Matrix cone cast-frame woofers operate in a 2.5-way network configuration allowing for installation vertically or horizontally without lobing or other acoustical issues found in traditional designs. The integrated MDF enclosure is designed for installation in standard 2×6 wood frame construction, and Internal connections allow for bi-wiring or bi-amplification in advanced installations. The SCL-2 delivers unparalleled performance in a wide variety of applications and is ideal for use in medium, large, and extra-large rooms.
